I thought it might be good for my first entry in The Suburban Conference Blog to go all the way back to the beginning, the 1959 season.....

Ruskin
All of the original members of the conference remain with the exception of Center who withdrew after the 2007 school year.
It has grown from one division of 8 teams to 4 divisions with 25 teams.
The Grandview Bulldogs coached by Bill McCrary captured the first ever Suburban Conference football title. It be would be the first of 19 conference titles for the Bulldogs, the last being the 2000 Small 7 title.
